Report a change

To report wrong or outdated information, open an issue on DumpNear's public GitHub repository with the site name, what changed, and a link to the official page that shows it.

How to report

1. Open a new issue on GitHub (needs a free GitHub account).
2. Name the site and its DumpNear page link.
3. Say what is wrong: hours, fees, accepted items, who can use it, a closure.
4. Link the official city, county or operator page that shows the correct information.

What happens next

We check the official page. If it confirms the change, we update the listing and its verified date. We can't use reports without an official source. See how we verify.

Each facility page also has a "Report a change" link that pre-fills the site name.
